Ritual sufi di sumur bersejarah Senegal

Orang-orang menyaksikan upacara tradisional di sumur tua di desa Ndande, Senegal, 19 Mei 2013. Setiap tahun penduduk desa ini melakukan upacara Islam sufi bernama Gamou-Ndande yang terdiri dari malam-malam berdoa dan salawat serta upacara animisme tradisional. Sumur bernama Kalom ini adalah situs bersejarah dalam sejarah Senegal. Menurut sejarawan setempat, Baye Niass, sumur ini berasal dari abad 16. Kini tak ada lagi air di sana dan sumur digunakan untuk acara-acara tradisional. Dalamnya sumur tersebut sekitar 36 meter dan diameter 11 meter.
